Bergen County officials are investigating fatal pedestrian strike that killed a man this morning in Teaneck.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 10 a.m., emergency responders rushed to the intersection of River Road ad Downing Street after receiving reports of a person struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police found that a garbage truck struck the victim at that location.
The unidentified person was pronounced dead at the scene.
