Cranford Police officials are reporting that a pedestrian was struck on Springfield Avenue this morning near Union County College.
According to reports, a pedestrian was struck near the crosswalk between the entrance to Union County College and Nomahegan Park.
Two vehicles were also involved in the crash.
According to initial reports, a male UCC student was waiting to cross at the crosswalk when he was struck by a female UCC student who was driving.
Reports indicate that the pedestrian was transported to University Hospital suffering serious injuries but is in stable condition.
One of the drivers was taken to Overlook Hospital in an unknown condition.
Springfield Avene remains closed from Kenilworth Boulevard.
Police are on the scene investigating.
