Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Being Struck by Vehicle in Manville


A 53-year-old man was transported to the hospital in critical condition after he was struck by a car in Manville.

According to authorities, the male pedestrian was crossing the intersection of South Main Street and South Street shortly after 6 p.m. when he was hit by a car.

Officials say the victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he remained in critical condition Tuesday morning.

The accident remains under investigation.

No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
