Paterson’s Clinton Street Shooting Under Investigation

Passaic County authorities are looking into a shooting that left one person injured on a street in Paterson on Wednesday evening.

According to a statement released by police, at approximately 7:05, p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Clinton and North 6th Street Paterson, on a report of a shots fired/victim shot in the area of Clinton and North 6th Street Paterson, NJ.

Upon arrival, the police located 20-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound located in a business in the area of Clinton and North 6th Street.

Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. Based on the initial investigation the victim was struck on the street and sought assistance in the business.
