Police in Paterson are investigating a shooting that injured a person in Paterson Wednesday morning.
At approximately 1:25 a.m., gunfire rang out near 410 Market Street, sending police to the scene to investigate.
Units arrived and found the unidentified victim suffering a bullet wound in their arm at that location;
Police say the victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Authorities said the suspect fled the scene and is at large.
There were no other injuries reported.
