Passaic County law enforcement officials reported that at approximately 3:15 p.m. on December 31, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and 12th Avenue on a report of a shooting.
Officials said police located a potential crime scene upon arrival, but no victim was found.
Police located multiple shell casings in the neighborhood.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
