EMS transported one person to St. Joseph's Medical Center suffering a gunshot wound to the arm overnight in Paterson.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 20's block of North 4th Street shortly before 1 a.m. where arriving officers set up a crime scene after locating the victim.
The extent of the victim's injury was not immediately available.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
The investigating is being handled by the Paterson Police Department.
