One person suffered injuries in a shooting incident that occurred on a street in Paterson Monday night.
According to authorities, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 100 block of Butler Street at approximately 11:40 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene found an unidentified person suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment while police searched the shooting scene for evidence and a possible suspect.
Police have not determined the motive for the shooting.
