Authorities in Paterson collected multiple shell casings from a shots-fired incident that occurred on a street in the city Friday night.
According to police, multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the area of North 10th Street between Belmont Avenue and Oxford Street at approximately 9:07 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found evidence that a shooting occurred but after they searched the area, no victims were located.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
No suspects were apprehended.
