Paterson Police Search for Suspect Responsible for Shooting 26-Year-Old Man

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Deputy Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald are asking for the public's assistance locating a suspect wanted for firing a gun in the city that struck a male early Saturday morning.

According to authorities, at approximately 4:13 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 12th Avenue on a report of an individual suffering a gunshot wound.

Upon officer's arrival, they located a 26-year-old male from Paterson struck by bullets according to police.

EMS transported the man to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson where doctors treated, then released him for the injury.

Police said the location of the shooting incident is unknown at this time.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
