Police in paterson are looking into the motive for an overnight shooting that occurred in one of the city's neighborhood.
According to reports, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 182 Goodwin Avene just before 2:25 a.m.
Units arrived at the scene found evidence that a shooting occurred after a search of the area, officers did not find any victims struck by gunfire. Police officials say officers recovered about three shell casings while canvassing the area.
At least one parked car suffered damaged after being struck by bullets.
The suspects remain at-large.
