Paterson Police Investigate Overnight Robberies

Police in Paterson are investigating several robberies that occurred overnight in the city.

The robberies are an addition to a string of commercial robberies that happened around the city on Friday evening.

An armed robbery of a male that happened at around 11:30 p.m. in the 100 block of North 10th Street had police on the scene where the victim reported being approached, then robbed by two black males shortly before officers arrived at the scene.

The suspects took personal possessions.

Shortly before midnight, police were called to the 200 block of West Broad Broadway where they arrived to find a female victim who reported being robbed by two black male suspects.

The suspect did not display a weapon.

A strong-armed robbery that occurred shortly after midnight in the area of Totowa Avenue and Marion Street had cops on the scene for the victim who reported being robbed by two black male suspects by strong-armed.

There were no injuries immediately reported in any of the robberies.

The investigations are active and ongoing.
