The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office is looking into a shooting that sent a man to the hospital overnight in Paterson.
It happened at approximately 11 p.m. in the 40's block of Clinton Street where reports of shots fired sent police to the scene to investigate.
Units arrived at the scene found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the leg at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to St. Joseph's Hospital were doctors treated non-life threatening injuries according to preliminary reports.
Police have not released the motive for the shooting.
