Passaic County authorities are actively investigating a car crash that left one person dead in Paterson.
According to preliminary reports, the early morning crash happened near the intersection of McClean Boulevard and Broadway just before 4:50 a.m. where emergency responders rushed to the scene after they received reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival to the scene, rescue crews found multiple cars involved in the crash with at least one person suffering life-threatening injuries reports said.
Medics ultimately pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
