Passaic County authorities are looking into a shots fired incident that occurred on a street in Passaic on Tuesday evening.
It happened in the vicinity of 3rd and Bergen streets just before 4:35 p.m. where police responded to reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival at the scene, police recovered shell casings, but after a search of the area, there were no injuries reported.
Police say a Hispanic male who was last observed wearing a grey sweat short ran from the scene following the shooting.
Bullets struck a vehicle during the incident.
