Officials in Passaic County announced that at approximately 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Summer Street and Broadway on reports of shots fired.
Officials said upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located evidence of a crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.
A short time later members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 23-year-old male Passaic resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
