Passaic County Man Found Suffering Gunshot Wound

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman reported a shooting at approximately 4:59 a.m. on February 4.  

According to authorities, members of the Passaic Police Department responded to the area of South Street and Ninth Street in Passaic on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene and a 54-year-old male Passaic, New Jersey resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound, officials said. 

The victim was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment, officials say. 

According to officials, the investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
