Police in Jersey City are looking into a shots-fired incident that connected on a person at a location in the city on Saturday night.
According to police, the shooting happened at approximately 11 p.m., where officers received reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Crescent and Communipaw avenues.
Units arrived at the scene said they found evidence that a shooting occurred and began to secure the area for the investigation.
One person was taken to Jersey City Medical Center and listed in critical condition according to reports.
Police have not released the motive behind the shooting.
No arrests have been reported.
