Police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent two people to the hospital.
Police responded to the 200 block of Roseville Ave. shortly after 1 a.m. for reports of shots fire. Upon arrival to the scene, police found one person suffering a gunshot wound to the foot.
Bystanders told authorities that a second person suffering injury from gunfire was taken away in a private vehicle a short time after the shooting. That victim arrived at University Hospital a little after 1:30 a.m.
Both victims injuries were not reported to be life threatening.
The motive for the shootings are under investigation.
