Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 4:02 a.m. today members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 21st Avenue and Summer Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police located a possible crime scene and were notified that a 25-year-old Paterson man and a 27-year-old Paterson man who had sustained gunshot wounds had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
Officials said both victims are currently in critical condition.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
