Overnight gunfire in a neighborhood in Paterson sent three people to the hospital according to authorities.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the area of 12th Avenue and Carroll Street shortly after 9 p.m. where officers found two people suffering non-life threatening injuries after being shot at that location.
EMS transported the victims to St. Joseph's Hospital where medical staff treated the pair for their injuries then released them authorities said.
A third victim was transported by private vehicle to the hospital several hours later suffering a graze injury. The victim reported to authorities that his injuries occurred during the 12th Avenue incident.
At least one of the victims injured was a teen.
There were no arrests reported.
