Jersey City Police are on the search for a suspect wanted for a shooting that left one person injured last night.
Police and EMS rushed to the 100 block of Seaview Avenue after receiving reports of shots fired at around 8 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they located the victim suffering a gunshot injury to the chest according to reports. EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical center in serious but stable condition.
The suspect fled eastbound on Seaview in a blue vehicle and remains at-large reports said.
