Authorities are investigating overnight gunfire that injured at least two people in Newark.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of South 11th Street shortly after midnight where they arrived to find two people struck and injured by gunfire.
EMS transported the victims to University Hospital with one of the victims struck to the leg and the other suffering an arm injury. Both victims' injuries were considered non-life threatening.
Police are attempting to determine a motive for the shooting.
There were no reports of arrests made.
