Orange Firefighters Battle Two-Alarm House Fire

Firefighters in Orange battled a raging two-alarm fire that tore through a three-story home in the city Friday night.

Heavy flames tore through the roof of a home located in the 100 block of Elm Street just before 10 p.m. sending firefighters to the scene where they arrived to find fire shooting from the roof of a wood framed home according to fire officials.

Crews were able gain entrance into the home where they began to extinguish flames then search the structure for trapped and injured occupants.

Firefighters were able to take control of the fire in under an hour with no injuries reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation by Orange Fire officials.
