A Trenton, NJ, neighborhood was disrupted by gunfire on Saturday night, resulting in one person being urgently transported to a hospital.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 11 p.m., prompting police to rush to the intersection of Union Street and Steamboat Street after receiving reports of the shooting.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered a victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
The area was quickly cordoned off by police to facilitate evidence collection and to ascertain if there were any other victims. Fortunately, no additional injuries were reported in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
As of now, the shooter remains at large, and the motive behind the attack is the subject of an ongoing investigation.
This shooting has raised concerns in the community as law enforcement continues their efforts to track down the suspect and understand the circumstances leading up to this violent act.
