Authorities in Hudson County are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Monday night in Jersey City.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the area of Ocean Avenue and Sal-Laf Court in Jersey City at approximately 9:17 p.m. following reports of an injured individual.
Upon arrival, they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm and immediately requested EMS.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and the investigation is active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported at this time.
