Jersey City authorities are looking into the motive behind a shooting that injured a male during the overnight hours.
Police found the male on Christopher Columbus Drive around 11:55 p.m., suffering a bullet wound in his leg.
He was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to survive.
Jersey City Police reported no arrests in the shooting at this time.
