The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one person injured in Paterson Friday night.
The incident occurred around 9:25 p.m. near Broadway and Summer Street.
Police responding to reports of gunfire arrived to find an individual suffering from bullet wounds.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities have not released information regarding the person’s condition.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and no additional details have been made public as the investigation continues.
