Police arrested a male suspect and recovered a loaded gun near the scene of a shots-fired incident in Jersey City Sunday morning.
A large crowd ran for cover in the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Stegman Street after gunfire rang out in that section of the city at approximately 12:50 a.m.
When officers arrived, they canvassed the scene and found a suspect fitting the description of the shooter in the vicinity of 497 Ocean Avenue.
The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
There were no injuries reported.
