Oak Ridge Man Charged in Connection with Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash in Jefferson Township

Morris County officials announced that Matthew Pulis, 21, from Oak Ridge, has been charged in connection with a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred in Jefferson Township on April 25.

According to police, it is alleged that Pulis was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash that occurred in the area of mile marker 3 on Berkshire Valley Road in Jefferson Township.

Police responded to the area at approximately 7:45 a.m. A 21-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the identity of this individual will not be released.

Morris County officials have stated that Pulis has been charged by summons-complaint with one count of third-degree Strict Liability Vehicular Homicide. He is scheduled for a court appearance on July 29, 2020.
