NY Man Identified as Union Robbery Suspect

Police have identified a New York man as the person wanted for allegedly robbing a CVS employee at knifepoint in Union over the weekend.

According to police, officers responded to a CVS store, located at 1178 Morris Avenue, Saturday afternoon for a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, the employee told police that the store had been robbed by a man with a knife at approximately 3:30 p.m. 

An area search with assistance of a K9, picked up a scent that led them to the Union Train Station platform.

A further investigation determined that the suspect had also been in another nearby store prior to CVS. 

With the assistance of detectives, police have identified Julian Muolo, 21, from Syracuse, NY, as a suspect.

Detectives, who believe Muolo fled the Union area, have signed criminal complaints for 1st degree robbery.

The incident remains under investigation.
