Police in Nutley are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen leaving Nutley High School on Friday afternoon.
According to information released by the Nutley Police Department, Jazmine Mendez was last spotted around 2:30 p.m. near the school at 300 Franklin Avenue.
Authorities say she suffers from asthma and does not have her medication with her, which has raised concern among her family and investigators.
As of Sunday, Mendez remains missing. Police say there have been unconfirmed sightings suggesting she may be in Newark, but her exact whereabouts are still unknown.
The Nutley Police Department is urging anyone with information that could help locate Jazmine to call them at 973-284-4940.
