A shooting that erupted at a "chicken shack" in Elizabeth sent one person to the hospital overnight.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 1200 block of Magnolia Ave. sometime around 4 a.m. where they arrived to the scene to find one person suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark where they are expected to make a full recovery.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
