A woman and a child were transported to an area hospital after the car that they occupied crashed, then overturned near the campus of Kean University early Thursday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at approximately 3 a.m. Officials say emergency responders received reports of a crash with possibly trapped occupants inside a vehicle near the intersection of Green Lane and Morris Avenue.
Fast responding rescue crews arrived to find occupants out of the vehicle suffering minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Union Police.
