There were non-fatal injuries reported for a victim who suffered a gunshot wound in a Trenton neighborhood during the overnight hours.
According to Trenton Police, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 249 Bellevue Avenue just before midnight where police responded to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg at that location according to police.
Police say EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where he was treated and expected to by recover.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and there were no arrests reported.
