An overnight shooting in Jersey City sent one person to the hospital.
Police responded to the 100 block of Linden Avenue after receiving reports of an injured person according to reports.
Responding units located the victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot injury to the leg.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where they were expected to make a full recovery.
Police located a crime scene in the 200 block of Old Bergen Road where it is believed to be where the victim was shot.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
