Non-Life Threatening Injuries Reported for Asbury Park Shooting Victim

Authorities in Asbury Park are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured a male on a street in the city Sunday morning.

According to police, units responded to reports of an injured person in the 1500 block of Bangs Avenue at approximately 1:20 a.m.

When police arrived, they found the unidentified male suffering a bullet wound in his arm at that location.

Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect has not been arrested at this time.
