An overnight shooting sent a man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries late last night in the city.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the area of 14th Ave. and South 17th Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. where officers found evidence of gunfire but no victim.
A male victim around the age of 40-years-old was transported by private vehicle to Beth Israel Hospital in Newark suffering injuries from gunfire.
The man was treated for his injuries then released several hours later.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation,
