Non-Life Threatening Injuries for Jersey City Shooting Victim

Police in Jersey City conducted an intense search for a shooting suspect in the 200 block of Halladay Street shortly before midnight after a shooting left a man injured in the city.

Reports of shots fired erupted in the area of Commnunipaw and Van Horne Street at around 11:47 p.m. sent police to the scene where they located a male victim injured from gunfire.

EMS were called to the scene to transport the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where he reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim's injuries were not considered life threatening according to reports.

There were no arrests immediately reported.
