Non-Fatal Injuries Reported in Overnight Plainfield Shooting

Plainfield Police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent a male to the hospital.

According to police, at approximately 10:25 p.m., patrol units responded to the vicinity of 1100 West Front Street on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence that a shooting occurred place but did not find a victim.

Police said moments after responding to the scene, a male victim arrived own his at the Muhlenberg Emergency Room.

According to authorities, the 26-year-old uncooperative male city resident was transferred to a local hospital with a non-life threatening wound.

The Plainfield Police Criminal Investigation unit responded and conducted the investigation that is continuing at this time.
