NJ TRANSIT Announces Current Service Levels in Wake of Storm

NJ TRANSIT services are subject to suspensions, delays and detours due to the significant impacts from the storm throughout the state.

Systemwide cross-honoring will be in effect for rail, NJ TRANSIT & private carrier buses, and light rail.

Important Note: Customers should avoid travel unless it’s absolutely essential. NJ TRANSIT service will continue to be subject to significant delays, cancellations and detours as storm damage is assessed and necessary inspections are made. Systemwide cross-honoring is currently in effect to provide customers with maximum flexibility for essential travel.

All customers should allow for extra travel time and are strongly encouraged to customize their service alerts on the NJ TRANSIT mobile app to receive updates via push notifications, monitor MyTransit Alerts, social media and njtransit.com for the latest service information.

Customers should customize their service alerts on the NJ TRANSIT mobile app to receive push notifications, monitor MyTransit Alerts, social media and njtransit.com for service information.
