NJ TRANSIT officials reported today that all beverages on its trains, light rail vehicles and buses on Saturday, December 10th are prohibited.
According to officials, the following will coincide with the SantaCon event in New York City and the Saturday, December 17th SantaCon event in Hoboken.
Transit officials said beverages of any kind, in any type of container, open or closed, will be permitted on board trains, buses or light rail vehicles during this time.
This policy will be strictly enforced.
As a reminder, NJ Transit said all beverages, including alcohol, are not permitted on NJ TRANSIT buses at any time regardless of the event.
If you see something suspicious or unusual, take note of it. NJ Transit encourages you to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, packages, or vehicles with as many details as possible.
