A Camden County man will spend 15 years in state prison after admitting to causing a fatal, high-speed crash while under the influence of multiple drugs in Atlantic County.

According to information sent by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, 32-year-old Stephen Sirch of Voorhees Township was sentenced by Judge Donna Taylor after pleading guilty on February 2, 2026, to first-degree aggravated manslaughter and three counts of third-degree assault by auto.

Under New Jersey's No Early Release Act (NERA), Sirch must serve 85 percent of his 15-year sentence before becoming eligible for parole.

Prosecutors said the crash occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. on April 3, 2024, along the Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township.

Investigators determined Sirch was traveling at approximately 100 mph when his vehicle slammed into another vehicle, causing it to strike a second vehicle.

The driver of the first vehicle, a 29-year-old woman from Clementon, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three occupants of the second vehicle suffered serious injuries in the chain-reaction crash.

According to prosecutors, the investigation found Sirch was under the influence of multiple substances, including fentanyl, at the time of the collision.

The fatal crash investigation was conducted jointly by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Crash Investigations Unit and the Hamilton Township Police Department.
