An Atlantic City man will spend more than a decade behind bars after being sentenced on multiple drug distribution offenses, according to authorities.

On Monday, June 22, 2026, 45-year-old Javar Bing of Atlantic City was sentenced by the Honorable Judge Donna M. Taylor, J.S.C., to an aggregate term of 12 years in New Jersey State Prison.

The sentence stems from convictions for third-degree, second-degree, and first-degree possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute.

Authorities said Bing was arrested on March 12, 2026, during a joint operation conducted by members of the New Jersey State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation at the Atlantic City Rail Terminal.

During the arrest, investigators recovered a quantity of cocaine exceeding five ounces, methamphetamine exceeding one-half ounce, and heroin/fentanyl in an amount under one-half ounce.

Following his arrest, Bing was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility, where he has remained in custody pending the outcome of the case.

The sentencing concludes a prosecution that resulted from the collaborative efforts of state and federal law enforcement agencies targeting the distribution of illegal narcotics in the region.
