Under the terms of his plea agreement, Younger is expected to be sentenced to an aggregate term of five years in New Jersey State Prison, subject to an 85% period of parole ineligibility under the No Early Release Act, ACPO officials say.

Upon his release from prison, Younger will be subject to three years of intensive parole supervision.

According to Atlantic County officials, on the evening of September 6, 2024, the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a 911 call, which reported a man had broken into a home.

The man, later identified as Younger, was found outside the home when police arrived, ACPO officials said.

Atlantic County authorities say Younger pushed a police officer who approached him, and a struggle ensued, during which time Younger attempted to grab an officer’s duty handgun.

After Younger was placed into custody, the 911 caller reported Younger had entered her home without permission and physically assaulted her, according to Atlantic County officials.
