NJ Man Indicted on Burglary, Theft Charges

New Jersey

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced the indictment of Nigel E. Hill, 21, of Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Officials say on Dec. 20th, Hill was indicted by a Hunterdon County Grand Jury on three counts of third-degree Burglary and three counts of third-degree Theft.

According to Prosecutor Kearns, “Mr. Hill was arrested after he was found wearing proceeds from a recent burglary. A supplemental investigation later revealed that Mr. Hill was in possession of numerous items reported stolen from multiple burglaries.”

An indictment is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
