A Wyckoff man has been arrested and charged with multiple sexual offenses following an investigation into allegations involving an adult victim, Bergen County authorities announced.

According to information released by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, Abd alwali A. Alsaidi of Wyckoff faces two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and one count of third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Authorities said the investigation began on July 7, 2025, when the Wyckoff Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the reported sexual assault of an adult.
Investigators from both agencies determined that Alsaidi allegedly sexually assaulted the victim in Wyckoff sometime between July 6 and July 7, 2025.
Following the investigation, Alsaidi was formally charged on September 17, 2026.
Officials said he surrendered to authorities the following day and was taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he was being held pending his first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
