The Bloomfield Police Department recently made an arrest following a routine traffic stop within the city limits.
On October 24, plainclothes officers conducted a motor vehicle stop, which led to the apprehension of 29-year-old Hassan Blango from Eatontown, NJ.
During the stop, Bloomfield Police officials said, law enforcement officers made a significant discovery as they seized an illegal firearm and controlled dangerous substances.
Mr. Blango has been charged with offenses related to weapons and drugs.
