A guidance counselor at Notre Dame High School has been arrested following an investigation into allegations involving a teenage student, according to information released by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

Antoine A. Hart, 53, of Lawrenceville, is charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Authorities said he was taken into custody on April 15, 2026, and is currently being held at the Mercer County Corrections Center pending a court appearance.
The investigation, conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit along with the Lawrence Township Police Department and the West Windsor Police Department, began after a 14-year-old student reported inappropriate conduct earlier this month.
According to officials, the student told police that Hart drove her to the campus of Mercer County Community College, where he allegedly engaged in sexual contact with her inside his vehicle.
Investigators also determined that Hart had sent suggestive text messages to the minor.
Authorities said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.
