N.J. Education Commissioner to Speak at Linden High School Commencement

Linden

New Jersey Education Commissioner Lamont Repollet has accepted an invitation to be keynote speaker at Linden High School's commencement ceremony on Friday, June 22.

“It’s wonderful that Dr. Repollet has chosen to speak to Linden High School’s Class of 2018,” said Superintendent Danny A. Robertozzi. “He is an experienced teacher, principal, and superintendent. Now, as the educational leader of the state, he carries that record of achievement and a vision of endless possibility that I know will resonate with our students at they move on to the next step on their life’s journey.”

School officials say Repollet visited Linden on May 8th. Repollet toured McManus Middle School, where he got to see some of its science and technology programs up close, and to take part in a roundtable discussion with staff, students and parents about the next generation of state assessments as part of his statewide listening tour.

Linden High School’s 108th commencement will be held at 10 a.m. at Tiger Stadium at Cooper Field.
